Who are we?

Kathrine SHILLING | Herder of Cats

Kathrine brings a great deal of experience from the business development side of the Property Management industry which made her transition into a property manager a smooth one. She loves looking after our Client Owners and their property.

As a former BDM she’s particularly skilled at researching and appraising top quality rentals. She’s also brought her unique people skills which enable her to deal with a wide variety of people. Kathrine is fully qualified to Level 4 Property Management through Skills.org.

Kathrine has a baby boy, a young daughter, and a small fluffy dog called Alfie. Her spare time is spent renovating her home, travelling around New Zealand, and getting out amongst nature with her family. Kathrine is scared of the dark, and if she ever won Lotto she’d donate to a children’s charity for underprivileged kids, possibly foster some more animals, and buy a farm to accommodate all of her animals.

Rachel MOORE | Tenant Whisperer

Rachel MooreRachel started with us letting and tenanting properties. She transitioned into property management a couple of years ago and has never looked back. As it turns out, she’s really good at it! So much so that she is now fully qualified to Level 4 Property Management.

She’s a Hutt girl through and through, growing up in Upper Hutt and now living in Lower Hutt, so she’s full of knowledge about the Hutt Valley. Rachel had her first wee baby last year so now she’s a Mum too.

She has an eclectic collection of hobbies including painting, watching scary movies, reading thriller novels, walking her boisterous dog, shopping and cooking! She keeps us amused by adding her many Rachel-isms to a conversation.

Tania Du Toit | Ooh, Chocolate!

Tania is energetic, ambitious, and motivated. You’ll certainly discover this when you speak to her! She’s qualified to Level 4 Property Management and has decided that property management is where her future lies. She’s always wanted to be involved in the property business so this role is perfect for her.

We’ll bet you’ve never met someone who LOVES property management as much as Tania. From building strong relationships to dealing with day-to-day stresses’ Tania loves it all!

She is also the office mum, you’ll find Tania bringing in treats for the team, and finding us supplies that we didn’t know that we needed.

As a native of South Africa who came to New Zealand a few years ago with her family, she certainly enjoys the much more relaxed lifestyle on offer here.

If you ever needed to get on her good side chocolate won’t go amiss.

Christina Foster | Chief Detail Officer

Christina came to us with a wealth of experience from across the ditch. Her time in property management certainly honed her skills and turned her into the detail delving devil that she is today.

Now that she is fully qualified to Level 4 in Property Management there’s no stopping her. She’s a no-nonsense ball of energy and has proved to be extremely good at this role. She invests a lot of her time in looking after her family and staying fit by running up Mount Kau Kau!

Helen Greenway | Letting Legend

Supporting every aspect of the letting process, from scheduling viewings through to signing up new tenancies, Helen brings her impossibly optimistic work ethic every day.  She has heaps of experience coordinating projects and has spent many years in the film industry before sharing her many skills and her sunny disposition to our office.

She’s worked on cruise ships, been a wedding planner, and a clothes designer and manufacturer. She’s the perfect addition to our  support team. In fact her coffee skills consistently impress!

Lynda Moore | Admin Support Guru

Beavering away in the background is our Admin Support Guru’ Lynda. She has been working in the property management industry for many years and has turned out to be incredible thorough when it comes to processes, systems and administration jobs.

Lynda ensures that the books balance every day, and that our tenants have paid their rent on time. She also processes all of the supplier and trade invoices on time so that everyone gets paid.

Richard HORNE | Fearless Leader

Fearless LeaderRichard started the business with nothing, and he says he still has most of it left. As an established investor he has a stake in the Wellington market with his own rentals. This means he fully understands the highs and lows that go along with rental investment.

It’s been his privilege to look after and manage countless Client Owner’s properties and learn the many different strategies that investors follow. With over 20 years experience managing property, Richard can answer most questions. He may not have “seen it all” but there’s not much left that surprises him.

As a practicing coffee snob, classic car fan and a quirky guitar collector, Richard keeps the whole team happy, productive and engaged on every level. He has even been known to make coffee for everyone AND do the washing up.
