The Wellington City office is situated just off the motorway in Johnsonville right next to the BP gas station, and the office is well positioned for our mobile Property Managers to get to anywhere in the region quickly and easily. The whole team looks after every type of rental property in the City, from student flats to luxury apartments, family homes to inner-city bedsits.

KATE KERR | Head Hunter/Gatherer

Firmly established in the hot seat as the Boss at the managemyproperty Wellington City office, Kate has a background in building and property development. She’s also got experience in property investment through her family, and she honed her people management skills through her time managing pubs in Scotland while on her OE.

Kate looks after the tenanting process for our property owners, and is particularly skilled at researching and selecting top quality tenants. She’s also extremely picky with inspections and taking care of maintenance issues across all our client properties.

She includes possum trapping and pig sticking in her skill set, so we’re not expecting any more trouble from rascally tenants. She’s also pretty handy with a gun.

RACHEL BROWNE | First Impressions Officer

Steering a reliable course through the endless phone calls, emails and all the other stuff that goes on in property management is the icy cool Rachel, who has taken on this role with some obvious relish. She seems to have an uncanny ability to know how things work, and an even scarier ability to think up better ways for us to do things.

She has run businesses before, and also had some property experience in a past life. Hers is the reassuring voice of calm when you call the office.

KATHRYN DUCKETT | The Tenant Whisperer

Kathryn joined us after an unreasonably long career in the insurance industry and has stepped into her role easily. She’s an experienced property manager, having worked for two property management organisations over the past two years. Originally from New Plymouth and having lived in the Hawkes Bay for a number of years, she’s now very settled and happy living in Wellington. She has three sport loving boys at school, so she’s kept pretty busy!

She has a Diploma in Business Management and also has her First Aid certificate, and has successfully passed Level 4 Property Management studies.

We recently found out that she’s been to a Justin Beiber concert, although we won’t hold that against her….

LISA WHITE | The Adminator

Lisa has a strong administration and customer service background, with certificates in Retail and First Aid. Her 8 year old daughter keeps her busy, and she bought a house recently so she’s spending a lot of time doing renovations.

She loves baking and photography and has also traveled a bit to Fiji and Australia. Lisa also claims she doesn’t have a hero, although she has met Richie McCaw and Dan Carter. She says she loves working here because it’s totally opposite to her last job as she feels valued and everyone is really cool to work with.

Like a lot of us, she still hasn’t worked out what she wants to be when she grows up.
